Im Miller im 13 and sorta new airsoft iv'e bout these cheap guns until I found it was a sport I fell in love with it but drifted cause I didn't know bout the forums and had no one to play with !! I will be looking to buy a gun(maybe used) in the next few weeks. Just to see if its something I would like. Do you guys have any suggestions. I know the top brands are Tokyo Marui, Classic Army, ICS, G&G, and KWA. And the less costly ones are Echo-1, D-Boy's, and Cyma. Othere then that I'm not sure where to start. I've played a few times at XK in Durham and will be there at least once a month. My son is the reason I got started in all this, but it's something I would've loved to have done back in the UK when I was a bit younger. Still, never too old eh? I've been busy taking apart my 2nd hand gun and getting it to a point where it might be more competitive, so I'll be interested to see how it matches up. We'd like to do some more campaigns, but were unable to get to the GA vs SC game last week so if there are any coming up that are fairly local, we'll be in. Fulda Gap looks great, so we should be going to that. I'm not sure that either of us can devote enough time to be a part of a team, at least I can't right now, but the idea does appeal. I've got a working Airsoft loadout finally put together (minus the pistol which is next on the list) and I am going to try to make it to Fulda Gap this year. I'm a veteran paintball player but was never happy with the giant hopper rattling around on the top of my gun or the enormous tubes of paintballs that I had to carry in order to play any sort of extended game. Lo and behold...here comes Airsoft to the rescue. Realistic loadouts, realistic weapons, less painful bruising...what's not to like? I've even had the privilege to purchase everything twice! That's because my wife is also joining me on this adventure. So I hope to get the chance to meet many of you, shoot even more of you, and kick back with a frosty cold beverage when the smoke clears and tell war stories till I'm blue in the face.

I have recently gotten into trucking as a career and loving every minute of being behind a big steering wheel with an air ride seat and 18 wheels beneath me and 80,000lbs!
