All LC events are 18, but sometimes father/son teams are allowed, where the son is younger than 18. I will speak to John about that.

"Standard minimum age limit is 18. However, we do allow very mature underage attendees (Parental Consent Form must be signed and notarized) to participate with an adult guardian (must be a Lion Claws Series alumni) present (case by case)." -- Lion Claws FAQ

It seems that you don't need to have a parent present, but an alumni of the lion claws series who can vouch for you. This is great news for me, because I'll be one month from 18 at the time of this event. Curse my age...

My Stepson went to Northern Lights last year and was just 13 (which I hope to take him to Red Strom, Southern Comfort, and Northern Lights) but we had to feel out paper work and check with John. It's wasn't just a "Ya, you can go"

Per FB.............You have a lot of time to formulate numbers a members. I will probably not send a final roster to John until around mid-to-late April. Desposit of $80 will be due around the same time.

I will get everyone's information and $80 deposit at that time. Once we are all registered as a platoon, then every person will send in the balance directly to John Lu.

Really hope you guys can join us!!!!

I would be all over this! Especially with it being in TN. But considering the field entry fee and me being jobless, I would have to sell my self into prostitution to afford a John Lu event. Besides, I will be 18 in 11 months, and hopefully have a job by then. Until then, I guess I will have to wait. But yall have fun!
